It’s a long plane ride! During a layover in Singapore, I was impressed by the vertical garden “supertrees” at Gardens by the Bay. Some of the “supertrees” are connected by an aerial walkway, and have photovoltaic cells on their canopies to harvest solar energy. The city is modern and clean.

Great start. At least you don’t have to worry about the impact of Polar Vortex in your neck of the wood now. We are getting pounded by extensive snowfall in the city (New York). I enjoyed looking at the “supertrees” and great that you mention about their ability to harvest solar energy through photovoltaic cells.
